"Raising the dead"

Films: Depraved (2019)

Alias: Alex

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: The world just cannot have enough adaptations of "Frankenstein", can it? But one really has to ask themselves, what if the doctor actually tolerated how hideous his creation was? What if he was willing to guide him on a path to true sapience? The answer is either satisfaction or disappointment. And many will suffer if it's the latter.

History: Shell-shocked soldier Henry came out of his time in war with a desire to bring the dead back to life, thinking it would put an end to the suffering in the world. Several stitched-together body parts and a bloodily taken brain later, and he's managed to create a youthful living being named Adam. At first, Henry is delighted by how much of a quick learner Adam is, being capable of complex tasks and speech. However, as time goes by, Adam begins to question who he really is, and whether he's actually his own person. Even worse, he often experiences flashbacks to his brain's old life. As Adam struggles to figure out everything, Henry and his colleagues remain steadfast in holding a vice grip in his life. Conflict ensues, obviously.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After being killed by those opposed to his existence, Adam rises again just to kill them all. Though Henry dies protecting him from his cruel boss. After killing said boss by dragging him into the woods to stuff him full of pills and hurl him off a ledge, he becomes an aimless drifter currently residing in New York and swearing off any human interaction.

Powers/Abilities: Adam is near-invincible, able to shrug off most wounds.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Adam is by far one of the more tragic modern interpretations of the Frankenstein's monster. He's more than capable of learning and expressing wonder at the world, but his childlike innocence is shattered by his hideous physical appearance (emo hair notwithstanding) and the violent acts he commits out of vengeance. Still, it was all that carelessness on other's part that drove him to nihilistic loneliness in the end. We pray someone finds him. Someone better.

Trivia: -Adam was played by Alex Breaux. It is one of his larger roles.

-This film was directed by Larry Fessenden, who had actually directed the 2014 music video, "Frankenstein Cannot Be Stopped".
